Why should I hire Constant Training instead of a local member to present programs? Many chambers say they like to use members for educational programs. I think that is a great idea to do whenever possible. I also hear from chambers that they get better attendance from outside speakers as well as they like to have people from the outside come occasionally for some fresh or new ideas. You will also find that not all speakers are equal – and one program on Customer Service will get RAVE REVIEWS from members while another one does not. We GUARANTEE you will get RAVE REVIEWS! What makes your programs so highly rated? Joe just went back to school to get his Masters Degree in Adult Education. He learned how to connect with adults in a training environment by making the programs fun and interactive. He is an "enter-trainer"! He has also "lived it" with over 25 years owning 9 different businesses. He has been in the trenches and has lots of life experience to share. Can I lose money if I sponsor this program? No – there is no way to lose money as we get a % of the gross receipts. You pay for nothing up front (other than your advertising to your members) We pay all our own expenses and provide all the materials, equipment, etc… How much money do I have to spend to advertise the programs? We recommend that you don’t spend anything other than a flyer or direct mailer to your members and a broadcast fax or e-mail. These methods work the best and cost the least. Who pays for the room and snacks? The chamber is responsible to pay for the room and any snacks they wish to offer. About 50% of chambers decide to offer some snack or a beverage and the others choose not to. We encourage the chamber to "trade out" for the room and the snacks so they don’t have to pay anything and we allow free attendees to the workshop in exchange for someone providing the meeting room or food & beverages. How much time will this take us to put together? We regularly hear from chambers that this is the easiest fundraiser they have done. We provide you with lots of sample materials and marketing ideas. All you have to do is add your name, the date and location and send it out! What is the minimum number of attendees I need to put this on? We have a minimum of 24 for the day. If you offer an AM and a PM session, the minimum is 12 per session, otherwise, with one session, it is 24. How much money can I make? We have had chambers that make the minimum which is $360.00 and we have had chambers that have made over $3,000.00 It depends on the number of attendees. How can I be sure the programs will be liked by my members? We have never had a bad experience with over 130 chambers we have done programs for. On our website under testimonials it lists over 100 chambers with their phone numbers and names to contact. Call as many of them as you would like to get their feedback. Our client satisfaction rate last year from the participants was 99.7% - probably the highest in the industry! We GUARANTEE your members will love the program and the fun. They are highly interactive and use a lot of unique adult learning techniques to make it happen. How far in advance do we need to get started to advertise and promote the program? We have chambers that have put it together in 3 weeks and we have chambers that spend 90 days promoting it. We recommend six weeks. An article in your newsletter with a one page flyer included is a great way to kick it off. We will provide you with a sample marketing schedule to make it easy to do. How many chambers book you again after the first time? EVERY chamber we have done programs for has expressed an interest in re-booking after the initial program. Most do re-book (90% +), some have staff changes, policy changes or just haven’t gotten around to doing it again (YET!) |
